SERVICES FOR CTAs & MONEY MANAGERS
CFOS/FX can provide a number of services to CTAs and Money Managers in both forex and commodity futures markets.
Both new and existing investment firms can benefit from CFOS/FX's 20+ years of business relationships. The services CFOS/FX can provide will depend on the manager's specific circumstances and regulatory standing, and will vary on a case-by-case basis.
Capital Introduction. CFOS/FX is a CFTC registered Introducing Broker and can introduce both forex and/or commodity futures trading programs to our qualified clients. *CFOS/FX will only introduce clients to experienced CTAs that can provide sufficient documentation to support reported performance.

Special note for START-UP CTAs: CFOS/FX has 20+ years experience in forex and commodities markets and can help traders establish a new CTA program. Though CFOS/FX will generally not introduce new clients to a CTA until a track record is well established, CFOS/FX can assist new CTAs with everything from company formation to regulatory compliance, creation of disclosure documents, marketing and negotiating clearing arrangements with some of the largest FCM's in the business. CFOS/FX can also make introductions to accountants and other professionals that specialize in providing services to CTAs. CFOS/FX has well-established clearing relationships with highly-reputable FCMs/Dealers such as Ikon GM, Saxo Bank, CMSFX, Interbank FX, FX Solutions, MFGlobal and R.J. O'Brien. With multiple clearing arrangements, CTA customers will have access to a wide array of trading products and services to choose from. Depending on the FCM, the CTA may be provided with a complete back-office system backed up by a 24-hour support desk. State-of-the-art technology generates multiple online account statements that provide all inherent information on trading, presented in a straightforward easy-to-read format. The professional back-office systems will allow you to reduce time and resources spent on operational and administrative activities, and allows you to focus on your core business activities: sales and trading.
Commission Discounts (Futures). CTAs who trade through CFOS/FX as their IB will be eligible to receive discounted commission rates based on monthly trading volume.
Commission-Free Trading (Forex). As with all self-directed forex accounts, there are absolutely no commissions or transaction fees. The IB and FCM are already compensated through the bid/ask spread.
Additional Compensation via Mark-ups (Forex). CTA's may choose to receive additional compensation by charging customers via a mark-up to the bid/ask spread. The additional compensation generally will be automatically placed in a CTA compensation account held by the FCM/Dealer and may be withdrawn by the CTA (usually once or twice a month).
