For the benefit of our clients as well as prospective clients, we have provided the following forex books and option books for sale. As investors ourselves, the professionals at CFOS/FX know first-hand how important it is for forex traders to not only understand how the forex market works, but to also have an understanding of the analysis and trading strategies needed to profit from foreign currency trading.
Therefore, we have provided a few select forex trading books for purchase that we feel may help you get the most out of trading the forex market. We have only included forex books that have been published within the last 10 years or so because the forex market has changed and evolved very rapidly over the last decade, and much of the literature published in the 1980's and early 90's is simply outdated. The only books we have included from the 90's are books that discuss strategies and concepts that transcend time - basic trading strategies, concepts and observations that have been proven over time to be trading "standards." Also, a number of forex trading books are, we believe, either poorly written (such as "Currency Trading" by Gotthelf) or were written with an agenda of self-promotion (such as "Foreign Currency Trading" by Wasendorf). Again, the books we have included below, we believe, contain helpful and informative trading information for forex investors of all type and size - we know your time is valuable and we don't want you wasting your time and your money on the wrong forex books.

General Review: One of the better books covering foreign currency technical analysis topics such as trends, patterns, formations, charting, candlesticks, numerous indicators (way too many to mention), Gann analysis and Elliot Wave. If you want to learn about charting and analysis as they relate to the currency markets, this book is for you. Moving averages, stochastics, relative strength, bollinger bands - it's all covered, and explained in terms of the currency markets. Please note, the accompanying CD-ROM is outdated. An excellent read for all foreign currency investors.

General Review: Another excellent book by Cornelius Luca - combines a few
hundred pages of valuable, detailed information about the foreign currency
markets with a couple hundred pages worth of charting, analysis and trading
strategies. If you're looking for a great starter book, we would recommend
this one because it covers so many topics so well. If you're looking for a
more comprehensive book specifically about technical analysis in the forex
markets, then we would recommend the previous book, "Technical Analysis in
the Global Currency Markets." An excellent forex book for novice and intermediate traders.
